Kate Spade for Nails inc FREE in Glamour magazine!

British magazines are amazing when it comes to dishing out (decent) free beauty products and Glamour magazine never fails to disappoint with its offerings. This month there are 4 Kate Spade for Nails inc full sized nail polishes to choose from worth £11 each! Admittedly now a days I only ever buy magazines for the free gifts but I do really like having a flick through Glamour magazine so for £2 its a win win! 

As I said there are 4 shades in the range a Gold metallic (Uptown glamour), a Silver metallic (Soho Silver), a Red (Big apple Red), and a Black (New York Noir) all very festive themed, sparkly and lovely! I picked up the Gold shade as its one that I have nothing similar to in my collection and not a colour I would usually wear so I thought I'd use the fact that it's a freebie to try out something different!

 I applied "Uptown Glamour" and my first thought was "Oooh this is like Gold member in a bottle" it is like pure liquid gold! I applied 2 coats because I always do but it's pretty opaque and you could easily get away with one coat. The formula is delightful it applies smoothly and dried really quickly leaving a pretty festive metallic sheen and although I don't feel like a convert to Gold nail polish,  if you are a fan then this is definitely worth you getting!

 Because of how nice, and more importantly how fast drying the formula is my decision to just pick up the one colour (what was I thinking?!) has now been re thought and I'm off to pick up the Red and Black ones as well!

Benefit freebies

It feels like such a long time since I wrote my last blog post! The truth is I haven't been feeling overly inspired lately, that plus the school holidays, a bit of decorating and barely any shopping at all (aside from a cheeky Urban decay NAKED palette which I will do a post on as its amazing! :) ) has left me a little lacking in anything worth writing about, and I don't want to bore you all so I thought it best to keep schtum! ;)

But today after what feels like an age since reading about it on Fee's blog  I got my hands on 3 copies of this months Glamour magazine which nabbed me a posie tint, a benetint, and a high beam from benefit cosmetics (each 4ml) collectively worth £28, which as always with these high end Glamour freebies makes it so worth buying as many £2 copies as you like. Strangely as these are 3 of benefit's best sellers, I have never owned any of them, in fact the only one that has ever slightly intrigued me was high beam as I really love a good highlighter! I'm not much of a lip and cheek stain type of girl but I wont turn my nose up at a freebie and am rather looking forward to testing them all out!

This was more difficult to remove than the benetint which surprised me!

The swatches are making it look quite likely that I will have to attack all the newsagents within a ten mile radius especially for copies with posietint and high beam attached!!

FREE Clinique products in April's Glamour Magazine

Hey girlies!!

As the title says,This month Glamour are giving away free Clinique Gifts to celebrate the magazine's 10th birthday issue!

There are 10 products to collect so 10 magazines and £20 quid later you will have the full collection (TOTALLY worth it!!!!) 

I only got 4 because I am trying to cut back on my frivolous spending at the minute (plus i'm off to York for the weekend and there are some amazing shops there I hear! Holiday spending doesn't count anyway!)

I decided on number 5,7,9, and 10 Although I'm really regretting the facial soap as I cant get my head around the fact that it's called 'soap' and also im in a pretty good skincare routine at the minute,I really wish I had picked up 'Moisture Surge' instead as Its the only thing that I have ever used from Clinique and I really loved it,the only thing that held me back from repurchasing was the price

 (Hmmm, I might have to pop back to the shop for that,the more i'm thinking about it)

I will be trying out my new freebies this weekend,while I'm away,
